Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 19, 2026

At JASS EAT, owned and operated by JassSoft, we take the security of your restaurant and dining data seriously. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect operational business details (restaurant name, email, terminal counts) and telemetry data required to run the POS client safely. We do not store guest credit card details; all payment processing is routed through encrypted third-party gateways.

  • Merchant Business Credentials: Store name, corporate registration number, tax identifiers.
  • Cashier Log Activity: Individual cashier logging times, override attempts, blind count values, discrepancy margins.
  • Device Metadata: Local network configurations, printer connection socket details, and system diagnostic telemetry.

2. How We Use Dining Telemetry

Telemetry data is processed locally to generate floor grid metrics and session warnings. Historical sales totals are encrypted and securely synchronized with cloud backup servers for owner reporting.

  • FOH Table Rendering: Enabling active session limits to warning flags on local client layouts.
  • Audit Compilation: Generating shift closures showing cache differences automatically.
  • Troubleshooting Support: Auditing terminal diagnostic configurations for hardware socket printing repairs.

3. Data Security & Storage

We use enterprise-grade secure sockets layers (SSL/TLS) for data synchronization. All offline data buffers stored on local browsers are encrypted, preventing tampering with blind cash audits.

We deploy forced cryptographic signatures on every sync pipeline. Backup databases are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and mapped under virtual private cloud configurations. We do not disclose transactional databases to external advertising entities.
